THE GOD OF THE WORK VERSUS THE WORK OF GOD

WHEN THE WORK OF GOD GETS MORE ATTENTION THAN THE GOD OF THE WORK, THEN WE HAVE INTRODUCED A NEW FORM OF IDOLATRY THAT MAKES US THE CENTER OF ATTRACTION AND NOT GOD. THEREIN LIES THE DANGER OF BEING IN MINISTRY WITHOUT HAVING A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. THE CHURCH NEEDS RELATIONAL LEADERS, NOT PROFESSIONAL LEADERS. GOD DESERVES BETTER. GOD'S PEOPLE DESERVE BETTER.

Ministry ought to be the product of a personal relationship with God, the absence of which makes anyone attempting to DO MINISTRY a gate-crasher (disrespect & dishonor to God), if you will, into what is exclusively the jurisdiction and prerogative of God. Ministry is a calling!

"PAUL, A SERVANT OF JESUS CHRIST, CALLED TO BE AN APOSTLE, SEPARATED UNTO THE GOSPEL OF GOD." (Romans 1:1). In this verse are the 3 Cs of the Ministry found;

(1) The Character of Ministry: the character of ministry is servvanthood -

(2) The Calling into Ministry: the calling into the ministry TO BE, not TO DO

(3) The Commitment of Ministry: the commitment of ministry is SEPARATION unto the Gospel.
